Group Ski Lessons
(FROM 16 YEARS OF AGE)
All our lessons will have a maximum of EIGHT persons per instructor and will focus on our proven development of skiing from beginner to expert.
All through the year, Summer and Winter –
- Sundays 11.30am – 1.00pm All Stages
Winter only 1st October to 31st March –
- Mondays 8.15pm – 9.45pm Stages 1 to 6
- Thursdays 8.15pm – 9.45pm All Stages

Ski Stage Structure
We run eight Stages of Group Lessons to accommodate different skiing abilities.

| Stage 1 | This Lesson introduces beginners to the basics of skiing |
| Stage 2 | Introducing and developing snowplough skills |
| Stage 3 | Introducing snowplough turns |
| Stage 4 | Improving snowplough turns and the introduction to the ski lift |
| Stage 5 | Using ski lift and developing snowplough turns(1st and 2nd exits on the main slope) |
| Stage 6 | Refining snowplough turns and introducing basic swings(Top of main slope) |
| Stage 7 | Developing basic swings through to parallel turning(Top of main slope) |
| Stage 8 | Refining parallel turning and developing skilful skiing.(Top of main slope) |
Those persons wishing to progress beyond Stage 8 may join the development groups in either HEMEL SKI CENTRE CLUBor the Hemel Race Club
If you wish to book lessons, please do so in advance as we cannot guarantee that every level will run each week. We reserve the right to combine levels where appropriate and in the event of four or less persons in a group, reduce the lesson time to 1 hour
Learn To Ski Day Course
(From 16 years of age) – A one day lesson for beginners
You need to be reasonably fit!
Saturdays or Sundays 1.30pm – 3.00pm & 3.30pm – 5.00pm
3 Hours tuition in ONE day – £51.50 per person

Training and Development
Throughout the summer the Ski Centre has a programme of Training Development and Assessment of NEW and existing Ski and Snowboard instructors for the Ski Centre, for the Snowsports Holiday companies and for School Ski course leaders.

Personal Performance Sessions
From 16 years of age and have achieved Stage 8 then our regular adult training sessions run on Thursday evenings between 8.00pm – 10.00pm
2 Hours session £17.50 per person
Ladies Morning
(From 16 years of age)
Two hours of group skiing with instruction. There is a break during this period for coffee which is included in the price!
ALL SKIING ABILITIES ARE CATERED FOR
Held on Wednesday mornings 10.00am – 12.00noon
2 Hour session £17.50 per person
4 x 2 Hour sessions £62.50 per person
8 x 2 Hour sessions £119.50 per person

Adult Private Ski Lessons
Private lessons offer greater personal attention to your skiing than group lessons and the flexibility to arrange these at times that are most convenient to you. The lessons are for one hour and are available at various times.

Adult & Junior Ski Lessons
(Adults & Juniors from 7 years of age – minimum 5 in a group)
Private groups offer you the opportunity to ski with people of your choice and the flexibility to arrange these lessons at times which are most convenient to your group. The lessons are for 1½ hours and are available at various times. A similar skiing ability is required within the private groups.
Adult (from 16 years of age) £26.50
Junior (to 15 years of age) £21.00

An easy approach to skiing within a group. An instructor will assist and guide you throughout the session.
